Russian Chain Stitch or Russian Leaves

Learn how to weave the Russian Chain stitch or the Russian leaves or both! The Russian Chain stitch alone makes a really delicate bracelet or neck chain. The Russian leaves is more for embellishing and can be used in various designs.

Examples of these two stitches are shown in this Czarina Lariat.  Inspired by the lariat designed by Hatsumi Oshitami in the April 2007 issue of Bead and Button.
